Veterans Event: Come join the VLB Marketing & Outreach Team as we attend our third year at the Sheppard Spouses Club's Hangar Holiday in Wichita Falls. While you're doing your holiday shopping, the VLB will have a table to educate all attendees about our three loan programs, land auctions, ten long-term skilled nursing facilities, and our five state cemeteries.
Hangar Holiday began in 1984 at Sheppard AFB, TX. As the years passed, the event grew so popular that the show was moved from the hangar to the WFMPEC. Sheppard Spouses' Club hosts the two-day event as the largest, free-admission Craft and Vendor Show in the Greater Texoma area. The net profits from this event benefit military spouses and dependent children through the SSC Annual Scholarship Program and the community through the SSC Grants Program.
