Giraffe Head Permitting and Design Project

Project Description

The objective of this project is to design and implement the shoreline protection and restoration of the bird nesting ridge and intertidal marsh complex in Dickinson Bay to prevent continued erosion and habitat loss. Project components include an approximately 6,500 linear foot graded rock breakwater, placement of material for the restoration of the 5,000 linear foot nesting ridge, and an estimated 12 acres of marsh.
