Project Description
Rollover Fish Pass was originally constructed to permit the exchange of fish and water between East Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Historically, currents that flow through the pass have transported sediment from the coastal littoral budget into Rollover Bay, adding to the instability of Gulf beaches in the vicinity of the pass. Hydrodynamics of the pass were analyzed so that alternatives could be developed to reduce and/or limit the erosion impacts on adjacent shorelines.
