Texas is a unique place with a rich history. The Texas General Land Office is proud to sponsor the Save Texas History Essay Contest, open to all fourth- and seventh-grade students in public, private, and home schools in Texas. Students will have the opportunity to win gift cards and other prizes by writing about the history that means the most to them.
