BONHAM — On February 15, 2019 the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home located in Bonham, Texas had the opportunity to attend the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps service learning project at Berkner High School.

The Berkner High School Junior ROTC group invited our Veteran residents of Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home to enjoy a presentation of their service learning project. Cadets of Berkner High School JROTC provided guided tours of the Military Heritage Collection of North Texas as well as a picnic style lunch for the veterans. The Berkner JROTC group recognizes the importance of Veterans and made sure to include them in viewing this significant military museum.
