KILLEEN — Today, Texas Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush announced that on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. SHARP, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran burial for Walter Albert Green. Born on June 30, 1955, Mr. Green served in the United States Navy from December 19, 1972 to July 20, 1973. 

Mr. Green is not expected to have anyone attend his burial. Please help us spread the word and ensure that our United States Navy Veteran is not buried alone. Members of the Killeen community are encouraged to attend. 

Green will receive military honors. If no next-of-kin is present at the burial, the On-Site Representative of the Veterans Land Board will accept the United States flag on Green's behalf.

The Texas Veterans Land Board works with the local community and fellow Veterans service organizations to ensure that NO Veteran is EVER left behind.
