Austin — Today, Veteran Land Board (VLB) Chairman George P. Bush announced that the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) has awarded the VLB a grant totaling $453,335.50 to three Texas State Veterans Homes (TSVH). The grant money will be used to replace the roofing at the Ambrosio Guillen TSVH in El Paso and the Alfredo Gonzalez TSVH in McAllen. Additionally, the grant will be used to replace the flooring at the Ussery-Roan TSVH in Amarillo.
