"These war monuments are not only awe-inspiring additions to VLB's Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, but they are undeniable reminders of the selflessness and bravery of the men and women of our Armed Forces. I encourage all Texans to come and pay their respects to the Veterans who are participating in the dedication ceremony and take a moment to reflect upon the sacrifices of the service members who have fought in these wars."
The ceremony will include a Veteran from each war period, including World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War. Each Veteran will speak at their respective monuments.
