Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is encouraging Texans to adopt a Veteran this holiday season by participating in Angel Tree donations at several Texas State Veterans Homes (TSVH). Each year, VLB’s Veterans homes display an Angel Tree for Veterans to share their Christmas lists with their community. Leslie Marlan Gunnarson. Born on July 15, 1958, SSgt. Gunnarson served from July 1976 to March 1983. SSgt. Born on November 19, 1959, SP4 Jones served from September 1977 to February 1986. SP4 Jones received the Good Conduct Medal and the Overseas Service Ribbon for this service to our country.
