Sediment Inventory of Upland Resources: Dredge Material Placement Areas (DMPAs)

Project Description

The Texas General Land Office’s (GLO) Coastal Protection Division has identified the need to further evaluate these sediment sources across Regions 1-4 of the Texas coast. Stantec (PSP) has been tasked with completing a desktop evaluation of potential DMPAs in CRMP Regions 1-4. Part of this evaluation will include review of the current Consent to Easement between USACE and GLO that addresses the GLO’s ability to access DMPAs and develop draft changes to expand the GLO’s authorized use to include upland DMPAs with materials suitable for coastal restoration projects.
