Today, Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairman George P. Bush challenged Texans to show their utmost appreciation for World War II Veteran, Army Sgt. Everett Alexander, who turns 100 on May 10th. Sgt. Alexander—a resident of the
Richard A. Anderson Texas State Veterans Home (TSVH) in Houston—has requested to receive
at least 100 cards for this momentous occasion.
Sgt. Everett was born in Florida and raised in Mt. Vernon, New York. He deployed to Europe during WWII where he served as a cook. Texans interested in showing their support for Sgt. Alexander can send birthday cards to the Richard A. Anderson TSVH addressed to:
