Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush is calling for entries in the 20th annual Adopt-A-Beach “Treasures of the Texas Coast” Children’s Art Contest. Commissioner Bush announces Texas General Land Office purchase of Woolworth, Crockett, and Palace buildings

Bush, Commissioner of the Texas General Land Office, announced official acquisition of three of the historically significant buildings across the Alamo Plaza from the Alamo Complex: the Woolworth, Crockett, and Palace buildings. USACE, Texas GLO and Galveston Parks Board celebrate completion of beach renourishment project

Today the Texas General Land Office joined with representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District and the Galveston Park Board of Trustees to mark the completion of the second of three beach renourishment projects in Galveston.
