Summary
Galveston Bay Foundation will maintain the previously developed efforts, but more importantly, continue to evolve and expand the Boater Waste Education Campaign (BWEC) based on lessons learned. GBF will develop, launch, and promote the use of a mobile application that facilitates public environmental reporting and tracking behavior change, to quantify the potential impact that boater waste contributes to overall bacteria levels in Galveston Bay in order to gain buy in for behavior change, to expand the BWEC to include communication with the commercial boating industry, and to address language barriers in the outreach materialsBasics
