Copano Bay Intermediary Design Project

Project Description

This project will complete intermediary design for a shoreline protection structure. While the upland land parcel is individually owned, the shoreline and majority of the marsh area is under a perpetual conservation easement with NRCS through the Wetlands Reserve Program. Prior to initiation of this project, CBBEP contracted with a qualified engineering firm to conduct a feasibility study and alternatives analysis for the eroding shoreline. This project will advance the engineering and design to 60% for a shoreline protection structure.
