Data Development and Management for Coastal Protection and Resiliency Planning Tasks 1-3

Summary

The GLO is contracting with Harte Research Institute (HRI) for Phase 2 of an existing project to continue previous efforts to develop and manage data for coastal protection and resiliency planning. HRI will aid in updating and enhancing the Resource Management Codes (RMCs) and the newly developed GIS viewer, which will serve as a tool for leasing state-owned submerged lands. The GIS viewer will locate sensitive coastal resource areas, providing information for environmental reviews and identifying potential obstacles during the permitting process. In addition, HRI will compile datasets for coastal resiliency planning, and assist the GLO in developing the Coastal Resiliency Master Plan.  This project is for tasks 1 -3 of the contract.
