Development/Implementation of Water Quality Management Plans - Kleberg/Kenedy

Summary

This project was implemented on agricultural lands within the boundaries of the Coastal Zone Area in Kleberg and Kenedy counties.  The primary task is the development and implementation of Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs) in the Coastal Zone. Best management practices include pasture planting, crossfencing, brush management, livestock watering facilities, livestock pipeline, diversions, critical area planting, range planting and prescribed grazing.
