Environmental Sensitivity Mapping

Summary

Update the index maps and data supplement to capture new information and ensure protection of sensitive environmental features along the coast. As was done with the initial sets of index maps and data supplement, information will be collected in collaborative meetings with coastal experts. This information will be incorporated into updated maps using advanced GIS mapping techniques. Data about species will be incorporated into a revised data supplement. Subsequent collaborative meetings will be held to prioritize areas for oil spill protection.
