Fred Stone Park Permitting and Design Project

Project Description

This project will build on previous efforts—which identified a preferred alternative consisting of nearshore breakwaters, marsh creation, and beach nourishment—by furthering engineering design, initiating regulatory permitting, and engaging the public to refine the final project scope. The project will include living shoreline construction for up to 750 feet of eroding shoreline. The living shoreline will restore approximately 0.5 acre of saltmarsh.
