Summary
The objective of the project is to collect additional water quality and biological data necessary to develop site-specific dissolved oxygen criteria for Oso and Laguna Madre. Four sites in Oso Bay and six sites in the Laguna Madre were sampled as described in the TCEQ SWQM Procedures Manual (for the following parameters: 24-hour dissolved oxygen, routine field parameters, and 5-day carbonaceous biochemical oxygen demand (CBOD5). In addition, a habitat assessment of the Laguna Madre was conducted including benthic and nekton biological sampling.Basics
