Pathways 2000: Pedestrian, Bicycle Paths and Walkways to Public Beaches

Summary

Pathways 2000, started in 1997 by the City of Jamaica Beach to remedy unsafe conditions when trying to access the beach in the area.  This project allowed the City of Jamaica Beach to construct a walkway going north and begin the walkway going south on Bob Smith Drive.  Historical and interpretive signage were installed along the pathway.
