Project Description

This project will complete alternative analysis and advance engineering and design for marsh and tidal flat restoration within the scour channel created by Hurricane Harvey, adjacent to the bulkhead west terminus at the Nature Preserve (Charlie’s Pasture). This project aims to restore approximately 30 acres of habitat that was inundated and turned into open water when Hurricane Harvey breached the bulkhead of the Corpus ship channel.
