Summary
This project determined the status and trends of wetlands along the upper Texas coast between Christmas Bay and East Matagorda Bay. This included interpreting and mapping wetlands and aquatic habitats depicted on historical and recent aerial photographs, using and revising existing historical data where acceptable. And included processing habitat delineations and entering into GIS, field-checking mapped wetlands, conducting detailed quality control analysis of all (historical and current) GIS data bases and analyzing wetland trends to determine probable causes.Basics
