Surfside Beach BMMP Maintenance Nourishment Construction & Groin System Permitting

Summary

A BMMP maintenance renourishment of the western-most 900 linear feet of the pedestrian beach adjacent to Beach Dr. at the Village of Surfside Beach. This maintenance renourishment work, completed in March 2015, facilitated emergency repairs to the western section and terminus of the existing rock revetment adjacent to the pedestrian beach. The present scope of this project concerns U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit regulatory work for a proposed pair of groin structures at the pedestrian beach.
