Texas Coast-wide Erosion Response Plan Update 2018

Summary

This evaluation will include, but is not limited to, a review of the accomplishments from projects funded under the Coastal Erosion Planning and Response Act (CEPRA) and other coastal program areas as appropriate, discussion of shoreline trends (from University of Texas, Bureau of Economic Geology and other studies), local erosion response planning efforts, and recommend priority locations for future investigation. The goal of the plan is to provide guidance to the Land Commissioner for determining critical coastal erosion areas and for prioritizing the allocation of public expenditures that minimize erosion and storm damage losses.
