Texas High School Coastal Monitoring Program

Summary

The University of Texas at Austin, Bureau of Economic Geology will engage students and teachers who live along the coast in the study of the natural beach environment.  Middle and high school students, teachers, and scientists will work together to gain a better understanding of dune and beach dynamics and provide coastal communities with valuable data on shoreline change.
