2024 Disasters Information

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued an allocation of $555,687,000 in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding to the State of Texas in response to the 2024 Disasters through Federal Register notice 90 FR 4759 (January 16, 2025), which is referred to as the Allocation Announcement Notice. These 2024 Disasters included the Texas Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Tornadoes, and Flooding (DR-4781) and Hurricane Beryl (DR-4798). The severe storms (DR-4781) incident period was from April 26 to June 5, 2024 and the Hurricane Beryl (DR-4798) incident period for Texas was from July 5 to July 9, 2024.
