As part of National Historic Preservation Month, the General Land Office’s (GLO) Save Texas History program is offering a limited edition run of tumblers to anyone who donates $30 or more. Donations made directly support the program’s work preserving the millions of historic documents and maps in the GLO’s Archives and Records.
Established in 2004, Save Texas History’s mission is to promote efforts within the GLO to preserve the Lone Star State’s history. With millions of documents including historical maps, land grants, deeds and others, the program was established for the purpose of raising additional funds required to preserve the state’s precious archival resources, and support Texas history education.
Texans interested in helping with this effort can donate through the program’s website
SaveTexasHistory.org. Donors contributing at least $30 will automatically receive a coffee tumbler while supplies last.
