Dressing Point Island and Shoreline Restoration Project - Phase I

Summary

The Dressing Point Island Restoration and Shoreline Protection Project is located in East Matagorda Bay part of the Big Boggy National Wildlife Refuge. The two phases of this project will result in a breakwater that will encompasses three quarters of the island, phase 1,  and the restoration of the island mass increasing the footprint from 4 acres today to a total of 11 acres.
