Connectivity Phase II: Coastal Monitoring Buoys

Summary

The goal of this project is to deploy and monitor four Coastal Monitoring Buoy Systems, two buoys inside of Galveston Bay and two in the Gulf of Mexico, to investigate the connectivity of Galveston Bay with the Gulf of Mexico coastal environment for current flow and oil detection. The project will provide an environmental baseline for coastal and bay hydrocarbon type and levels.
