An integrated system with Unmanned Surface Vehicle and Unmanned Aerial System for oil spill detection and sampling

Summary

The goal of this project is to design, build, and test an integrated system with Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), and data transmission and processing algorithms for oil spill detection and surface and underwater sampling. Texas A&M-Kingsville will create a graphical user interface (GUI) to enable smooth and seamless data transmission, integration, and analysis between USV and UAS with the capability of generating control commands for operating the USV.
