Aransas Bay Bird Nesting Island Restoration & Protection Phase 2

Summary

This project is for the protection and restoration of Deadman Island. The construction efforts will involve the installation of a breakwater structure around the perimeter of the island and placement of imported fill material inside the breakwater structure to expand the footprint of the Island from its current size of 0.7 acres to closer to three acres.
