Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi will investigate if Padre Island is likely to become breached based on geological and stratigraphic features within the island. The project outcomes will help coastal managers develop sustainable mitigation scenarios to natural forces while preserving the unique nature of valuable coastal resources.
