Summary

Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) will identify the microbiological and water quality drivers of a persistent brown tide in Baffin Bay. To identify the drivers of the bloom at Los Olmos Creek, TAMU-CC will characterize the bacteria and archaeal communities, characterize the viral communities, isolate and identify algicidal viruses and characterize the water quality parameters associated with the bloom.
