Summary
This project is providing for the design, permitting, and construction for the closure of Rollover Pass on Bolivar Peninsula. The man-made pass has been shown to exacerbate erosion of the Bolivar Peninsula gulf-facing beaches since its creation in 1955. Additional funding will providefor the implementation of projects (project #1518) that will mitigate the loss of recreational fishing opportunities brought about by the closure of the pass.Basics
