Summary
The project expands brushy and tree habitat, installed an irrigation system and landscape the new habitat at the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center. This included native plants, such as Huisache Trees, Coma del Sur, Seagrape, Tenaza, Tepanhauje, torchwood, Texas Sabal Palm, and Mexican Fan Palm.
