Summary

The information focused on the importance of improving rather than polluting the runoff water quality by everyday actions and the consequences of not doing so and presented to community businesses and commercial interests. The information included; guidelines for construction urging best management practices to prevent run-off water pollution in the waterways and direct code/ordinance language regarding lawn and garden care.  And development of materials and processes including periodic review of current local regulatory needs, which foster an atmosphere of mutual support and dialogue between government and business, to strengthen cooperative coast habitat stewardship while seeking solutions which allow for sustainable economic development.
