Summary
This project address this lack of education and subsequent adverse impacts in two ways: with proper education about NPS pollution, water quality and the function and value of wetlands for water quality of Galveston Bay, and the on-the-ground restoration of fresh/brackish wetland habitat. Students received in-school education, field education with plant collection and wetland restoration, and real-life education with the planning and development of a local community festival called "La Cuenca Cuenta."Basics
