Development/Implementation of Water Quality Management Plans - Orange

Summary

This project is applicable only to agriculture lands within the boundary of Orange County south of Inter State 10 and the land located within the Adams Bayou Tidal, and Big Cow Bayou subwatersheds.  The primary task is the development and implementation of Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs) within impaired watersheds.  Best management practices include irrigation land leveling, nutrient management, pasture planting, brush management, prescribed grazing systems, wetland creation and wetland wildlife habitat management.
