Sediment Monitoring in Galveston Bay - Final Phase

Summary

The fifth year of a cooperative research study that seeks to document the effects of the Lake Livingston dam on downstream sedimentation processes, in particular the delivery of sediment to the lower Trinity River and the Trinity Bay estuary and, ultimately, Galveston Bay. This project will resolve issues raised by results obtained during the first four years of the project with respect to the effects of various human and natural controls on sediment transport and storage in the lower Trinity River.
