AUSTIN - Commissioner George P. Bush today announced the appointment of Anne Idsal to serve as the first female Chief Clerk of the Texas General Land Office. In this constitutionally mandated position, Idsal will act as the chief executive officer for the Land Office and manage the daily activities of the agency. The Alamo
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) and City of San Antonio have teamed up to direct a collaborative vision for the future of the Alamo Complex and the surrounding historic district. The City, in partnership with the GLO, is reissuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for eligible firms to develop a comprehensive master plan for the Alamo Plaza Historic District, including the State-owned Alamo Complex.The City issued the original RFQ in December 2014 for a master plan of Alamo Plaza and the surrounding historic district, not including the State’s property.
