Oral History: Schmidt, Havana

Havana Schmidt was appointed to the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2010 and graduated in 2014 as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S Army. She attended Airborne School in Fort Benning Georgia, and Cadet Field Training before being assigned to the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. Ms. Schmidt then transferred to Fort Shafter to work with the Army Pacific Command in an assistant secretary-general staff position. Ms. Schmidt left the U.S. Army in 2019 and is pursuing a legal career.
