On Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. sharp, the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran Burial for Sieglinde Juanita Shindler. Born on August 8, 1955, Shindler served from August 1985 to January 1993. Shindler received various awards, including the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal.
