Beach Adoption Agreement - Liability Release

As a participant, or parent or guardian of a participant, in the Texas Adopt-A-Beach program sponsored by the Texas General Land Office and other sponsors and co-sponsors, I,  hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless the State of Texas, the Texas General Land Office, all sponsors and co-sponsors, and their agents, employees, officers, and successors from all liability, claims, or actions which I, my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees may have or claim to have against any of them arising from any personal injuries and other claims connected therewith, whether known or unknown, or injuries to other persons or to property caused by or arising out of any action I might take relating to my activities while participating in the Adopt-A-Beach program. My signature confirms my desire to become an official adopter of a mile of Texas beach for two years.

As an adopter, I agree to:

  • clean my stretch of beach at least three times during each of the adopting two years.
  • coordinate my cleanup efforts with the local Adopt-A-Beach program volunteer coordinator.
  • record information about trash collected on a cleanup summary report and return it to the Adopt-A-Beach program.
