Beneficial Dredge Use Master Plan - Phase 2 GLO Regions 3 and 4

Summary

The goal of this project is to provide up to 90% project design, including geotechnical analysis, magnetometer surveys, and revisions to engineering and permit packages on up to five high priority BU project sites in GLO Regions 3 and 4 and that are currently undergoing preliminary engineering in the Cycle 26 Project of Special Merit. The current sites include waterbird rookery islands, coastal emergent marsh, and beach nourishment. Further design work is needed to be able to take advantage of the ongoing and future dredging opportunities for coastal resiliency projects, especially in the Corpus Christi Bay area and along the GIWW. Ducks Unlimited would engage with all appropriate stakeholders to get input and review of the 90% project designs.
