Children's Beach Shoreline Restoration Project Phase 1

Summary

Isla Blanca Park attracts over 1 million visitors annually and the boat ramp at Children's Beach provides the primary access to the popular fishing destination known as South Bay. The desired outcome of this project is to conduct engineering services for a future construction project to stabilize the Children's Beach shoreline, in order to protect the natural coastal environment in the Laguna Madre from sedimentation and turbidity.
