Development of an interactive, animated web page for Texas Automated Buoy System(TABS) data

Summary

THis project will update the TABS website making the site interactive,  animated and create a web portal.  The interactive, animated display of information from TABS will include the TABS forecast model and real-time observations.  The goal of the updated display is to provide straightforward, easy to understand information to the general public while at the same time being useful to scientists and oil spill mangers.  A link on the main page will go to an exhaustive data portal, with other more advanced output from the model, such as error statistics based on model-data comparisons, as well as links to actual data from the TABS buoys thorough text files, and hydrodynamic model output through a THREDDS server. .
