Galveston Bay Debris Removal

Summary

The Galveston Bay Debris Removal project will remove marine debris from navigable waters and habitat areas of Galveston Bay, its sub-bays, and tributaries. Removal of the debris will allow safer access to open-water areas for boaters and anglers; improve water quality by increasing water flow and circulation; enhance marsh and open-water habitats for fisheries production; and improve the bay's appearance for all users of the bay.
