This project aims to increase the reliability and consistency of data being received from the Texas Automated Buoy System (TABS) network by upgrading and normalizing controller hardware and software used to collect, process, and transmit the data. By upgrading and normalizing the control systems, the reliability of data collection and serviceability of the buoys will be optimized.
