Summary
The goal of this project is to design, build, and test an integrated system with Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), and data transmission and processing algorithms for oil spill detection and surface and underwater sampling. Both USV and UAS systems are effective for oil spill early detection and characterization. A&M will also create a graphical user interface (GUI) to enable smooth and seamless data transmission, integration, and analysis between USV and UAS with the capability of generating control commands for operating the USV.Basics
