M.A.P. (Mapping, Atlas, Public Outreach Project)

Summary

M.A.P. will  deliver a database and GIS based atlas of the Armand Bayou Coastal Preserve; to promote interest in the Armand Bayou Nature Center and provide knowledge and encourage public cooperation for preserve protection. An analysis report with site statistics, ecological benefits and an economic benefit summary will also be included.  This information will be available via the Internet and in hard copy at the ABNC.  A poster, slideshow and general education video on the preserve will also be produced and made available at the ABNC.  The ABNC's speakers will also utilize these materials.
